First-time users are required to sign up for a personal RefWorks account to use the service. Please signup with your EdUHK e-mail address, you will then receive a confirmation email to activate your RefWorks accounts. |

Since you have already registered an account, you can also access to ProQuest RefWorks outside campus. |

References can be imported into your personal RefWorks account from many Library E-Resources. You can direct export references from selected databases into RefWorks or import references through text files exported from databases.??Please refer to?RefWorks Help pages. |

Write-N-Cite is an utility programme that facilitates formatting papers within Microsoft Word including in-text citations and creating a bibliography at the end of the document in your preferred citation style. To use Write-N-cite, you should login to RefWorks and follow the instructions for downloading and installation of Write-N-cite which is located under the “Tools” pull-down menu in RefWorks.
Tips for Installing Write-N-Cite: ?Read the install information from the webpage of RefWorks first. ?Select appropriate download option for either 32 bit or 64 bit Office. ?Confirm that you have all recent Windows and Office updates from Microsoft’s Update tool (e.g. Microsoft .NET Framework). ?Write-N-Cite for Windows is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It works as a plugin for Microsoft Word 2007 and 2010. |
