Borrowers must return their loans to the Library on or before the due dates.

All loans must be returned on recall.

Fines are charged for late returns.

Loans checked out from MMW Library can be returned to the Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons, or vice versa.

Fragile items and special materials, such as media collection, must be returned to the appropriate counters of the Library

All items with “Checked Out” status in the Library System shall remain as loans to the borrowers

24-hour Book Return (Tai Po Campus Only)

24-hour bookdrops are available at MMW Library foyer on Tai Po Campus only.

Books placed into the bookdrops after library opening hours will be considered as returned on the last day the Library was open.

Only non-overdue books should be returned via the bookdrops. Overdue books, books with accompanying materials, media resources and books from other UGC libraries must be returned to the Library Circulation Counter in person.

Borrowers will be held responsible for any loss or damage of items placed outside the bookdrop.

RFID Self-service Stations are installed on G/F of Mong Man Wai Library and Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons.?EdUHK Students, Staff and other users holding EdU Cards or EdUHK Library Borrower Cards can? return EdUHK Library books quickly and easily by themselves.?
